American Idol bids farewell to contestant Michael Sarver. Michael’s rendition of “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg” just didn’t cut it among the other contestants. He’s a good guy, but not quite the singer that the other 9 contestants on American Idol are.

Howard Cohen of the Miami Herald commented today on Alexis Grace’s departure:
“American Idol viewers cast aside the season’s most gifted contestant on Wednesday’s results show, the colorful Alexis Grace, and the judges foolishly didn’t use their one-time-only Save option. Shame. Idol’s left with a weak Top 10.”
